KOHAN MACHINERY CO., LTD Company History
- 1949
- Started designing and manufacturing overhead travelling crane and special telpher crane to increase work efficiency.
- 1951
- Research and trial production of lifting magnets for handling think steel plated; D.C. power eqipment for cutting-off of electricity.
- 1954
- Research and trial production of large sized gas planer of solenoic roller system
- 1955
- Research for correction shear line fr hot coil started
- 1957
- For extension of sales of above mentioned new products. Kohan Machinery Co., Ltd was established indenpendently with capital of ¥4,000,000.
- 1959
- The Excellence Award was given for the device of lifting magnet with safty wquipment for fly wheel from the Invention Association.
- 1960
- Kohan Machinery Co., Ltd accomplished the fist hot sear line for 9mm x 1900mm in Japan
- 1963
- Kohan Machinery Co., Ltd accompilshed the first overhead traveling crane with lifting magnet and motorisd rotate beam in Japan
- 1964
- Kohan Machinery Co., Ltd accompilshed the first coil shot blast line of 6mm x 1900mm in Japan
- 1970
- Kohan Machinery Co., Ltd designed the first flying shear line of 16mm x 1900mm in the world. For this design we received development fund and special industrial classification for the first domestic product from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
- 1971
- Technical tie-uped with the Nouvelle Spidem Co, to manufacture 6 hi roller leveller for nonferrous material
- 1972
- Exported the hot coil shear line of residual stress releasing type for1/2″×72″ to Canada.
- 1973
- Kohan Machinery Co., Ltd the first slitcut leveller line for automotive frame material in the world in the world.
- 1974
- Research and development startd for the electric magnet of divided poles to lift curved steel plates for ship building.
- 1975
- The divided pole type electric lifting magnet was named Mag-All applying patents to 14countries and started the sale.
- 1977
- Mag-All of controlling steel plated lift is accomplished.
- 1978
- Flying shear line with 4 hi rolling equipment for 3.2mm x 1600mm width is accomplished. The Kohan Sendan was absorbed and merged with Kohan Machinery Co., Ltd. Kohan Technology Ltd was established.
- 1979
- Assenmbly and manufactore of Mag-All started in USA
- 1984
- Made an agreement with Taiwa Engineering Co., Ltd in South Korea for manucature and sales of magnet in Korea
- 1985
- Start realstate and property management business
- 1989
- Accomplished3.2mm x 12.7mm traveling shear
- 1999
- Installed the last Sher Line(9.0m/m x 1,600m/m) in 20 century
- 2006
- Installed slitter to the traveling shear line which manufactured in 1989
